What personal data do we collect

The term “personal data” means any information relating to a living person who is identified or identifiable (such a person is referred to as a “data subject”).

We collect the personal data you provide to us during the registration and order checkout processes and any further personal data you provide to update your registration details from time to time. This personal data includes:

  • your contact/billing details (name, address, email address, telephone numbers)
  • your shipping contact details (name, address, telephone numbers), occasionally this can be a third-party gift recipient
  • personalised text/images that you provide if related to a custom made item (e.g. a personalised gift)
  • your order greeting message
  • payment details (credit/debit card details are not stored by us and are passed directly on to our payments partner Bank of Ireland for immediate processing.

Such information is only collected from you if you voluntarily submit it to us.


Non-personally Data

Like most websites, we also gather statistical and other analytical information collected on an aggregate basis from website visitors to our website. This data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as for example, user browser types and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of our website. We use this data in an aggregate form to get a better understanding of where our visitors come from and to help us better design, organise and market our website.


The Purpose for which we hold your data

We process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

To fulfil your order

  • To fulfil your order (i.e. to facilitate the provision of ordered goods and services)
  • To contact you or your recipient if required in connection with your order or to respond to any communications you might send to us;
  • To allow you to view your order and order history
  • So you can keep a history of the products you have ordered from us
  • So you request us to re-print artwork for future orders
  • So you can track deliveries

  • To communicate to you information about new products/services and special offers we think you will find valuable.

All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in Ireland.

How long do we keep your data

We will not keep your personal data for any purpose for longer than is necessary and we will only retain the relevant personal information that is necessary in relation to the purpose.

We will retain the personal data you provided on registering an account on our website so long as that account remains in existence. If you tell us, at any time, that you no longer want to have an account, then we will delete your personal data from our records.

In the case of any contact you may have with our customer services department, we will retain those details for as long as is necessary to resolve your query and for a short period after the query is closed

Who do we share data with

We share your personal data with third parties who:

  • Deliver orders (i.e. we disclose your contact details to the shipping companies so they can deliver)
  • Gift Recipient (we disclose the sender’s contact details so the recipient knows who the sender is, see “Disclosure of Sender” section below)
  • Facilitate the storage of enquiry email (support tickets)
  • Facilitate live chat
  • Store and generate personalised artwork imagery
  • Process payment (i.e. our Payments Processors such as Bank of Ireland Payments)

In addition, we may disclose your personal data:

  • if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to protect the rights, property or safety of our business, our customers or others. This includes, in specific cases, exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection; and
  • to successors in title or replacement operators of all or part of our respective businesses.
